Russell T. Kiko, Sr. became fascinated with the auction industry when he helped an auctioneer friend who became ill during the winter of 1944. From there, Russ Kiko Associates Inc. was founded in 1945.

He, his wife and 13 children conducted auctions on the farm in Stark County, Ohio and from the very beginning he instilled in his family that honesty and integrity are the keys to a continually growing business.

He taught them also that the secret to success was good old-fashioned hard work! They listened and learned. The business grew and so did the family as it still does today.

As a leader and innovator in the auction business, Russ was the first Ohio auctioneer to be inducted into the National Auctioneers Hall of Fame and was in the first class of inductees to the Ohio Auctioneers Hall of Fame.

With three generations of experienced auctioneers, who are specialists in their fields, Kiko Auctioneers has grown to be the most successful family owned auction company in the business today. We continue to lead the way in the Auction Method of marketing.
